Self-Sustainable Torrefaction Technology for Torrefied Biomass Pellets
EnviroChem Services offers advanced self-sustainable torrefaction technology for producing torrefied biomass pellets, also known as green coal or black pellets, from agricultural residue and biomass feedstock.
Our torrefaction technology is designed to convert low-value biomass such as cotton stalk, corn cobs, crop residue, and other agro-waste materials into high-energy renewable solid fuel suitable for industrial boilers, furnaces, and coal co-firing applications.
How does the Torrefaction Work?
Torrefaction is a thermal treatment process in which raw biomass is heated up to approximately 300°C in an oxygen-deficient environment. During this process, moisture and volatile compounds are removed, and the biomass is partially pyrolyzed.
The result is a dark, brittle, and energy-dense solid fuel with improved fuel properties compared to conventional biomass pellets.
